Hi all, can anyine recommend a decent baby monitor? Was thinking of getting the BT Baby Monitor 150, any ideas?

looks like a good monitor, We use the Tomy Walkabout Digital Baby Monitor, think about £75.

This is very durable been thrown around the place by my two year old and still working fine.

from what i can see,I think it has all the features of the BT except the MP3 player thing.

just my thoughts

We have the tomy also is definately doing the job.

we also have a Tomy walkabout, doesnt look as swish as the bt one, but I think it is probably more robust and is a tried and tested design.

Have you thought about the ones with video camera and screen, they are quite expensive, and if you are looking at £75 might be worth a look.

Anybody else got any views on this??

We have used a wireless cctv kit, you can even nip next door and see/hear your little one for total reassurance.

We used this which is only £43 (cheaper on ebay naturally) and since the camera is wireless you can attach it to r/c cars and planes. Remember you plug the receiver into your TV set as it does not come with a monitor.

We also used the Tomy Walkabout - the LED display was very handy as I used to DJ weddings and you can listen (watch the display) to see the nipper snoring in the hotel bedroom while the discs are spinning downstairs.
