Hi,

I Recently added a Tamiya Double Blaze to my RC collection for bashing about with, and was wondering if any other dads out there were in to RC cars, and if it would be worth starting a section on RC cars??

I got the double blaze under the protence it was for my two year old.......as if, he hasnt got hold of the controler

Hi,

Havent used my RC truck for a while, have an HPI savage, really good for bashing about, I never really got in to electric stuff.

I think a track on RC cars would be good, but there are lots of other sites out there that are dedicated to radio control cars already.

looked at the savage, but very expensive in comparison to double blaze / twin detonator darivitives, which are 1/2 the price.

do you not find it a pain having to mess around with tuning the engine etc on the nitro??

with electric just plug in and off you go.

as for the forum, these sites seem to be more for geeks than guys that just want to have fun, I could be wrong.

which are you subscribed to??

not actually subscribed to any but loads out there just having a look there is one called dagger web, which is for rc cars with the tamiya wild dagger chassis which your double blaze has

Have you guys seen the double blaze review in the ye gads review section, looks like it is new in this month.

Pretty cool car, might look at getting one myself

Hi Andy,

It is a realy coolcar, Tamiya do several diffrent bodies based on the same mechanicals. The Dual Hunter is the latest and greatest and comes with the ESC that the guys recomend in the doubleblaze review.

I would recomend one of these if you want to bash around in the back garden or driveway. Electric cars are so easy just charge them up, plug them in and off you go.
