I know what you mean about electric RC cars, dead easy to start and clean (you can use them in the house).
I used to do loads of IC car and buggy stuff but it was messy and frustrating if they wouldnt start. After a few years I wanted the extra dimension so started flying IC planes but since having babies I have not had the time - can't wait till they are older.

Here is one of my "modified planes" - do a search on youtube for "rocket firing plane"

cool plane, are they difficult to fly???

really fancied getting a helicopter when i was a kid, I have one of those mini pico Z mini ones, which is quite cool to fly indoors, but not the same as a 4 chanel one!

Just got myself a Twin Detonator, Same as the Double Blaze, but I think it has a better style shell.

Just started putting it together, I cant wait to get it out in the back garden.

Cheers for putting me on to these guys.

Andy,

As you have just got one, you have galvanised me into putting up a review of the Twin Detonator, take a look it might give you some ideas.

Hi,

Ive had a read of the review, great stuff. Where did you get the shock towers and shocks from on the truck in pictures at the bottom of review, They look awsome!!!

Glad you liked it, got the towers and shocks off of Ebay, do a search for tamiya twin there are loads of alloy bits.
