When did people start buying stuff?

We're in Week 28, from various friends we've received a few items, but according to some of the books we should now have the hospital bags packed and be ready for everything...it's not.

We're going for re-usable nappies so we have to plan a bit in advance for stuff, so when SHOULD I start buying car seats, and stuff?

I think you should be looking at getting the car seat pram etc, I am suprised you have left it this late I couldnt wait to get buying stuff.

Not sure about the re usable nappies, maybe you could do a review for us on them.

Ahh right....ok we thought it might be tempting fate if we got stuff too early. I better go spend some money.

RE: The nappies. I will do. Expect a review around March time

Yeah, I think that buying the buggy was the best bit.

re-usable nappies.........

saw them at the baby show last year, I can just see the solids being a problem.

I guess you just kind of scrape it out

ok I might start a new thread on this, but basically you have a few types, the ones that we're buying (Tots Bots) you put a tissue liner in. The liner is basically like strong toilet paper (but nicer on kids bums) and so for solids you just take out and flush down the loo.
