When we first looked at this we thought that the foam neck made it look too bulky and we didn't think our 2 year old would like it because it looked uncomfortable. How wrong we were and wow what a difference it made to his confidence.

It was really easy to put on, which in a small swimming pool changing room is a plus. It also appears to be very hard wearing. (he has been in it most weekends for the last 4 months and on holiday) It really is a well thought out bit of kit and our son was noticeably more confident when wearing it.

As the manufacturer says it is not a life vest and therefore close supervision is still required. That said, with the support around the neck it does really assists your child's confidence when they are in the water. My son was still able to move about freely and it had no effect on his ability to run around playing on the beach and making sand castles etc.

Something else that was great is that because it is a full body suit it offers some real protection from the sun. We of course covered him in sun cream when we went out, but after a few days on the beach our son did have a few "farmers tan" lines.

It is plainly a product designed by someone that knows children and loves the water. A big thumbs up.
