Night time zombies 3 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 1
Help - my little girl is 2 1/2 years old, she goes to sleep perfectly in her own bed but has started getting up in the middle of the night and wandering into our room like a zombie trying to get into bed with us. We then carry her back to her bed with no fuss but why is she doing it.

She is not cold (or too hot) and I don't think she's being woken by noises and she has a drink by her bed so she's not thirsty.

Just wondering if you have the same issues - is it normal and what can be done ???

We have gone (are going) through the same thing. I know from a guy at work whos boy is the same age that he is also doing it. Never been told about this before but get the impression it is pretty common. Something for the administrator of this site to look into perhaps?

In the meantime fairwell fellow Zombie i hope she gets out of the habit soon.

YAY

I know it's early days but I reattached bars to the side of the bed to stop her falling out and last night was the first night in months that she stayed in bed all night. Maybe she was just rolling out.....

Bed bars seem to be doing the job

Just need some blackout blinds to help her sleep longer and it will be bliss again, apart from number 2 being up every 2 hours for his feed
